What's Happening in Clarksville's Running Community

CLUB MEETING:
Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Pancho Villa II near exit 11 at 6:30 p.m.  (In case you missed the info, the Front Page Deli is now closed.)
  • New for 2012:  Race recognitions are done at the end of meetings by each individual runner! 
  • Please wear your CRC shirts to this meeting for a group photo.
  • CRC technical t's will also be for sale at this meeting for $20.
  • Need to renew your membership?   We will have membership renewal forms available at this meeting.   Or download one at www.clarksvillerunningclub.com.
  • We need to choose a LOCAL CHARITY for the Wilma Rudolph 5K/10K at this meeting.  Please email ideas to  or 
 
RUNNING SCHEDULE:  
All runs are at 8:00 a.m.on Saturday mornings for now.  (Mileage is listed for those training for Oak Barrel Half or Country Music Half.  Come out and run or walk ANY DISTANCE at ANY PACE.)   Speed training and hill training can accomodate everyone.  Come out and do as much or as little as you like.
 
Sat, February 4:  Beachaven Winery 6 to 8 miles
Tuesday, Feb 7:  Hill training.  Meet at 5:30 p.m. behind the Foy Center on APSU's campus (next to the stadium).
Sat, February 11:  Clarksville Greenway 7 to 9 miles
Wednesday, Feb 15:  Speedwork at Beachaven Winery along International Blvd. 5:30 p.m.
Sat, Feb 18:  Rails 2 Trails in Ashland City.  *Meet at 7:45 at East Montgomery Elementary on McAdoo Creek Road to carpool/caravan if you don't know the way.  8-10 miles
Sat, Feb 25:  Drop back week.  4 miles at Dunbar Cave
Tuesday, Feb 28:  Speedwork at Beachaven Winery at 5:30 p.m.

Sunday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m.    Please volunteer to help with registration or shirt sales.
